Bayou La Terre is a collaboration with composer and sound artist James May. The first iteration was a weekend-long creative workshop that explored place, memory, material culture, and sonic environment. It is an ongoing, non-hierarchical project, involving activists, philosophers, historians, archaeologists, printmakers, filmmakers, ceramicists, and sound artists.
